Getting a car loan with bad credit can be so frustrating and time consuming, that you just want to say the heck with it all. Don't give up. You just need a new strategy and plan, one that will work for you. What I'm about to share with you will knock your socks off. This strategy has helped people buy cars with bad credit.
I'll show you how to get your car loan with bad credit in three easy steps, that anyone can do.
They don't do their homework and research before going out looking for a car. Before going out to a dealership or lender find out who has programs and cars that will fit your financial situation. Depending how bad your credit is you may need to be looking at sub-prime lenders and dealers. You want to find a lender who will cater to people with bad credit.
Most dealers don't want to deal with people looking for a car loan with bad credit. They simply avoid people with bad credit scores and look for the people with the higher scores. They want to deal with people who have the means to buy today.
Most dealers will reject a car loan with bad credit by looking only at the FICO score. They don't even read the credit report. Don't let all this gloom and doom discourage you - there is hope.
Follow these three steps and get your car loan with bad credit approved before you even know what happened.
Step 1 - Change Your Self Talk.
Stop telling yourself (and others) that you can't get this loan approved because of your bad credit. Change that little voice in your head to start saying things like this... Yes I can do it. I can get this loan today. I am a good person and I always pay my bills on time now. See yourself driving away in your new car. Feel what it feels like to have those new wheels.
Keep doing the above until you create what you really want - your new car. What you believe...is what you will create. Believe you can do this, and you will.
Step 2 - Locate Lenders That Can Help You
Go online and look for lenders that cater to people who want a car loan with bad credit. They are out there and waiting to help you. Stop buying into all the bad news that lenders are tightening up and not loaning money to people with bad credit. It's not true. There are hundreds of lenders that can help you.
Step 3 - Build Trust and Confidence
One of the most important things you can do is build trust and confidence with the lender you are going to get your loan from. You need to prove to them that you are trustworthy and capable of paying back the loan to them. What happened to you in the past is over and left in the past. It's now time to move forward and rebuild your credit again. Remember, lenders are people just like you and me. They just want to know that you are going to pay them back.
You can assure them of your good intentions by coming up with a huge deposit for the down payment. Show them your income and evidence that you can easily pay them back. (Show them bank statement, pay stubs, etc.) Do a budget and show them how you are managing your money and what you have allowed for your car payment. (This doesn't have to be anything fancy - write it out on a legal pad.)
